August 2019 – The microbiological laboratory in Radeberg, Germany, was opened in 2016 at STERIS’s existing gamma and electron beam site to support Customers in Germany and Switzerland with laboratory testing to conform to the ISO 11137 standard.
August 2019 – STERIS is pleased to announce the addition of electron beam sterilization services in Port Klang, Malaysia, near Kuala Lumpur.
April 2019 – It has been one year since we completed the expansion of our laboratory in Seriate, Italy by adding a new sterility testing suite and upgrading the testing areas.
March 2019 – As part of our long-term commitment to supporting medical device manufacturing, STERIS is pleased to announce that we are making additional investments in radiation-processing capacity throughout our global sterilization network over the next two years.
March 2019 – The Anecto Test Services business is now part of STERIS Laboratories, which is an offering within the STERIS Applied Sterilization Technologies business. In conjunction with the microbial validation services offered by STERIS Laboratories, the Anecto Test Services offering provides a comprehensive portfolio of testing options for the validation of sterile medical devices.
STERIS Laboratories is pleased to announce that our new MALDI-ToF (Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization with Time of Flight) system has been fully validated at our Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA lab and is now available for Customers of the laboratory to use.
2018 was another exciting year for STERIS Laboratories as we expanded both in locations and global service offerings.
The new STERIS Laboratories facility in Libertyville, Illinois opened earlier this year with a focus on supporting Customers with testing services for radiation processing, such as bioburden determination, dose establishment and ongoing routine monitoring.
