STERIS Announces Expansion of Kuala Ketil, Malaysia Laboratory

  • Supports medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing with additional testing and validation service capacity 
  • Offers a full suite of microbiology testing utilizing new and upgraded equipment 

As part of our long-term commitment to supporting global medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing, STERIS is pleased to announce the completed expansion of its existing Kuala Ketil, Malaysia laboratory.

The laboratory supports the increased demand in volume and complexity of medical devices and pharmaceuticals in the region. 

The new, modern laboratory includes more space and features optimized processes and upgraded equipment, providing a significant increase in capacity with new and enhanced service capabilities.

In addition to the Kuala Ketil, Malaysia laboratory, we support medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing in Asia through our electron beam, ethylene oxide, gamma, and X-ray sterilization services in Port Klang, Batu Kawan, and Rawang, Malaysia; Chonburi, Thailand; Suzhou, China; and Singapore.
