The microbiological laboratory in Radeberg, Germany, was opened in 2016 at our existing gamma and electron beam site to support Customers in Germany and Switzerland with laboratory testing to conform to the ISO 11137 standard. 

The laboratory has grown significantly, while continuing to achieve exceptional quality and service standards for our Customers. We are pleased to have added staff at the laboratory, to support our Customers and accommodate the growing demand for these services. 

When asked for the secret of the success of Radeberg Lab, Laboratory Manager Saskia Faassen is very clear: “The answer is teamwork. Our colleagues at the Radeberg E-beam and gamma facilities and the laboratory team work together to support our mutual Customers. In addition to guiding our Customers from sterilization validation through routine processing, our Radeberg team regularly takes part in the annual 5km run in nearby Dresden. Whether in the facility or out on the road, the story of success is a story of teamwork!”
