STERIS announces product and packaging testing services are now available at the brooklyn park, MN, USA laboratory

As part of our long-term commitment to supporting medical device manufacturing, STERIS is pleased to announce product and packaging testing services are now available at its Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA laboratory.

In conjunction with the microbial validation services offered by STERIS, the product and packaging testing services provide a comprehensive portfolio of testing options for the validation of sterile medical devices. Product release to market is further supported by the STERIS AST global network of contract sterilization facilities and laboratories.

On October 12, 2022, the STERIS team celebrated the opening of the product and packaging testing at the Brooklyn Park laboratory. Over 50 guests and prospective Customers from in and around Minnesota joined us for the event. Annette Eckman, Director of Laboratories, officially opened the laboratory expansion with the symbolic cutting of the ribbon ceremony, marking a new and exciting chapter in the history of this very successful laboratory.

The day encompassed a tour of our newly expanded product and packaging laboratory, featuring multiple accelerated and real-time aging chambers and a full suite of distribution simulation capabilities.

We would like to thank all the guests who helped us celebrate the occasion, as well as the staff at the Brooklyn Park laboratory who supported the event and the launch of our new capabilities.
