News from our Libertyville, IL, Laboratory

The new STERIS Laboratories facility in Libertyville, Illinois opened earlier this year with a focus on supporting Customers with testing services for radiation processing, such as bioburden determination, dose establishment and ongoing routine monitoring.

The laboratory is the most recent addition to our Libertyville campus, which is also home to our Radiation Technology Center, two production gamma processing facilities, and the Radiation TechTeam® group of technical experts.

The location of the laboratory offers Customers access to lab testing, radiation technology experts, and specialty processing, all in one location, providing a unique service offering in the United States.

Through its proximity to the Radiation Technology Center, the Libertyville laboratory provides Customers with seamless logistics for radiation validations and quarterly dose audits.
