official STERIS pharmaceutical laboratory opening event in radeberg, germany

On Tuesday 8th March Synergy Health, now part of STERIS team celebrated the opening of their brand new microbiological laboratory in Radeberg, Germany. This adds to the current network of STERIS Pharmaceutical Laboratories in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Italy and Czech Republic. Over 35 guests and prospective Customers from in and around Germany joined us for the event and helped share the day with us. Gerold Quilitz, Managing Director of the Radeberg site officially opened the laboratory with the symbolic cutting of the ribbon, marking a new and exciting chapter in the history of this very successful facility.

The day encompassed a tour of the ‘state of the art’ laboratory as well as the existing E-Beam and Gamma facilities. Our internal quality and microbiology experts also gave a very interesting presentation focusing on the key challenges and requirements surrounding the validation and irradiation of medical devices.

The event was an incredible success and a fantastic opportunity to showcase our brand new facility as well as our extensive service range. The feedback we received was extremely positive and guests were thoroughly impressed with the laboratory, our range of services and the demonstrable skills and expertise of our laboratory and QA team.
