happy new year from STERIS laboratories

Happy New Year from myself and the global STERIS Laboratories team. In 2018, STERIS Laboratories will continue to focus on supporting our Customers in achieving compliance with the requirements of ISO11137, ISO11135 and GMP. In order to do so, we are continually reviewing and improving the Customer Service experience, from operating systems and testing equipment updates to quality system refinements and capacity increases.

2017 was a busy and exciting year for STERIS Laboratories, with the completion of the laboratory expansion at Seriate, Italy, the go-live of our MALDI-ToF Identification system at Tullamore, Ireland, and continued improvements to certification, including our Radeberg, Germany, and South Marston, UK, laboratories gaining ISO17025  and GMP accreditation.

The beginning of 2018 will see the continuation of a number of ongoing projects, such as additional capacity across the network, the roll out of the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) operating system, beginning with our Utrecht laboratory, progress with additional accreditations in Italy, UK and the Netherlands, and the launch of a new MALDI-ToF (microbial identification service) at our Minnesota, USA laboratory.
