STERIS labs fy19 update

The close of the STERIS fiscal year allows us to look back on the successes of the last twelve months, and look ahead to the exciting future of our laboratory services offering.

We are pleased to better support our Customers through the refurbishment of our labs in Seriate, Italy and Radeberg, Germany, and investments in new equipment and capacity for Endotoxin (LAL) testing and EO residual testing at other labs.

Early in 2018 we opened our new microbiological laboratory in Libertyville, Illinois, which is dedicated to supporting Customers with ISO11137 validations from a single campus, along with support from the Radiation Technology Center (RTC) and the Radiation TechTeam®.

The coming year will see the global rollout of the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), improving reporting and visibility for our Customers, as well as a major expansion at our Tullamore, Ireland facility.

We will continue to update equipment and capacity locally at our global laboratories, based on Customer requirements. Our focus on continuous improvement, the quality of our services, and the safety of our team demonstrates our commitment to providing world-class service solutions to our Customers and safe, rewarding work for our People.
