STERIS expands radiation technology center in libertyville, illinois to include electron beam testing

STERIS is pleased to announce electron beam testing services are now available at our expanded Radiation Technology Center (RTC) in Libertyville, Illinois, USA.

The expansion to include E-beam testing services complements our existing gamma test services available at the RTC, providing Customers with comprehensive product validation and assessment services, including;

• Dose establishment
• Dose verification
• Product feasibility assessments

Libertyville, Illinois Radiation Processing Campus

In addition to the Radiation Technology Center, our Libertyville campus also includes two gamma processing facilities, an on-site microbiology laboratory, and is home to our Radiation TechTeam® technical experts. The combination of a dedicated technology center, technical support, and laboratory services in one location results in a seamless transfer of validation and dose audit work into our production processing locations by providing:

• Dose audit activities in one location
• Faster turnaround for low dose processing
• Single contact for management of dose audit
• One report to consolidate dose audit activities
