STERIS Announces Equipment Upgrade at its Saxonburg, PA Electron Beam Processing Facility

As part of our long-term commitment to supporting global medical device manufacturing, STERIS is pleased to announce the installation of a new accelerator and associated subsystems at its existing electron beam processing facility in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania, USA.

The Saxonburg facility operates two independent electron beam accelerators. The installation of this new accelerator follows the replacement of the other electron beam system in early 2019. Once complete, the two new systems will provide significantly greater capacity and improved reliability for routine processing.
